What is our cause?

 India, a lowermiddle-income country and one of the fastest growing economies of the world, has only reduced its extreme child poverty rate from 11∙7% (53∙3 million) in 2017 to 11∙5% (52∙2 million) in 2022.  

In Nigeria, a middle-income country and subSaharan Africa’s largest economy, nearly 38% of children (40 million) live in extreme poverty 

 2023 estimates suggest that 566 million children under 18 years across 110 developing countries are multidimensionally poor—ie, they experience deprivations in at least a third of the ten indicators spanning health, education, and standard of living. 

This data tells us that while countries are improving economically, people in poverty, primarily children, are being left behind. 

With the introduction of AI, skills that were previously specialized are now easily accessible to everyone. We want to introduce children in poverty to the skills required to get well paying jobs using AI, breaking the cycle of poverty.

How can you help? We partner with the Lotus Petal Foundation, who provides food, classrooms, and primary education to these children, while we provide essential education. However, this is all nonprofit, and keeping this infrastructure functioning isn't cheap. That's where you come in! Any and all donations are greatly appriciated.
